Senior Solution Architect - IoT & Cloud

Job description

• Derive the architecturallysignificant requirements, including quality attributes (NFRs), from the product, customer, businessrequirements, and drive the software architecture for the appropriate decompositionlevel such as system, sub-system, etc.
• Analyze and prepare technicalproposals in response to Request for Proposals (RFP) received from customerorganizations.
• Define sustainable, extensible, andmaintainable software architecture for IoT enabled Software as a Service (SaaS)applications hosted in AWS and Azure Cloud.
• Define architecture and designprinciples and guidelines for the products and solutions and support the teamsfor implementation and testing within the defined framework.
• Provide consultancy to multipleproduct and solution teams and recommend best practices and improvements.
• Establish and drive the architecturalgovernance for SaaS applications in the assigned area of responsibility.
• Evaluate different concepts withrespect to technological and commercial aspects and take make or buy decisions.
• Create solution building blocks,reference architectures considering the industry best practices and thebusiness requirements.
• 15 - 20 years experience in softwaredevelopment, design, and architecture with minimum 5 years experience inarchitecting of medium to large scale SaaS applications/solutions.
• Expert in the cloud technologies andcloud managed services - AWS & Azure.
• Proficiency in systematicarchitecture and design.
• Advanced experience in architectingwith microservices, containerization, and reusability.
• Experience in design &architecture of IoT solutions.
• Ability to understand of end-user andbusiness needs and translate these needs into solutions.
• Expertise in tradeoff analysis,recommending approaches, and defining guidelines.
• Working experience with Agile/Leanprojects and DevOps tools.
• Ability to effectively communicate,influence, and interact with various stakeholders.
• Strategic and innovation orientationwith high ownership.
